Reviewing budget estimates prepared under Senate and National Assembly votes and submitted through the Directorate of Finance and Accounting Services for submission to the National Assembly;
Conducting quarterly and annual review of financial reports from the directorates for budgetary controls and performance management;
Reviewing the Budget Policy Statement Paper and making submissions to the National Treasury;
Advise the Commission and Management on financial priorities;
Lobby for sufficient financial resources to fund parliamentary activities through the National Treasury and Budget and Appropriation Committee of the National Assembly.
