The Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Senate Sen. Amason Kingi, today hosted the Qatari Ambassador to Kenya Mr Jabor Bin Ali Al Dosari, who paid the Speaker a courtesy call at his office.

The Speaker spoke towards the trade imbalance between Kenya and Qatar and called for an urgent review of the Joint Commission for Co-operation (JCC) between the two States for improved bilateral relations. He further emphasised that a review of the JCC would facilitate the entry of a wide range of Kenyan products to the Qatari economy.

“There is so much The Qatari Government has done for Kenya in the short period these countries have had diplomatic relations,” said Mr Kingi.
