Selection Panel Shortlists Candidates for IEBC Chairperson and Member Positions

𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Selection Panel responsible for recruiting nominees for appointment as Chairperson and members of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has released the names of shortlisted candidates. 

The panel has also announced the dates for oral interviews.

According to notices published in the Daily Nation and Standard newspapers on Friday, March 14, 2025, the panel, chaired by Dr. Nelson Makanda, has shortlisted eleven candidates for the position of Chairperson.

The interviews for this position are scheduled to take place from Monday, March 24, 2025, to Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Additionally, the panel has shortlisted 105 candidates for the positions of members of the Commission. 

These interviews are set to begin on Thursday, March 27, 2025, and conclude on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

The names of the shortlisted candidates have also been published on the Website of the Parliament of Kenya. 

The oral interviews will be conducted publicly at the College of Insurance in South C, Nairobi County.

Shortlisted applicants are required to present their original national identity card or passport, along with original copies of their testimonials and certificates.
