Nationwide Public Participation Exercise On The Public Participation Bill

Members of the National Assembly’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) have continued with the nationwide public participation exercise on the Public Participation Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 44), 2025.

The exercise, which seeks to collect views from wananchi on the proposed law and enrich the Bill, saw the Committee hold sessions at the Tom Mboya Labour College in Kisumu County before proceeding to Mbale Praise Centre in Vihiga County.

The Bill, co-sponsored by Rarieda MP, Hon. OtiendeAmollo and Ainabkoi MP Hon. Samuel Chepkonga, aims to establish a clear legal framework to guide how public participation is conducted across government institutions.
