โForests are a gift to humanity. They give us fresh air, shade, and a peaceful space to reconnect with nature. Further, Tree-filled parks and forests encourage outdoor activities like walking, jogging, or cycling, contributing to better physical health and fitness.โ, noted Wellness Committee Statement.
The statement elaborated that mitigating measure on the looming climate change are critical to ensure a healthier, greener future.
Karura Forest is one of the few remaining green spaces in our growing city, providing a refuge for people and wildlife.
