The National Assembly Committee on Appointments approved the appointment of Geoffrey Ruku and Hanna Cheptumo as Cabinet Secretaries for Public Service and Gender, respectively.

During the session, legislators raised concerns on the delay in the disbursement of ND- CDF funds. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘔𝘳. 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 𝘔𝘣𝘢𝘥𝘪 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘶𝘱𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥 (𝘕𝘎-𝘊𝘋𝘍) 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘠 2024/2025.

The House also approved Hon. Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim for appointment as Principal Secretary, State Department for National Government Coordination.

Lawmakers' further passed the Senate Amendments to the Cancer Prevention and Control (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 45 of 2022) and passed the Excise Duty (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 7 of 2025).
