Social media managers working with female lawmakers have completed an intensive training program aimed at enhancing their digital communication skills.
The capacity-building workshop was organized by the Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) in partnership with the Institute of Public Finance (IPF).
The training focused on strengthening digital advocacy and equipping participants with strategies to promote positive publicity for the leaders they work for.
During the sessions, facilitators highlighted the importance of the digital space as a key platform for leadership, advocacy, and societal change.
Participants were reminded that they play a crucial role not just as content creators, but as digital architects shaping public narratives that elevate the visibility of women legislators.
The training also emphasized the impact of words and visuals in communication.
Attendees were taught how to use strategic communication tools effectively and were guided on best practices for maintaining digital safety in a rapidly evolving online environment.
