Mbeere South residents rally behind Constitution Amendment Bill in day 2 of public participation

Day two of the Public Participation forums on the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025 saw an overwhelming show of support from residents of Mbeere South Constituency in Embu County.
Locals voiced strong approval for the proposed changes, saying the bill represents a beacon of hope for equitable development.
Speaking during the engagement, team leader and Runyenjes MP, Hon. Erick Muchangi emphasized that NG-CDF, NGAAF, and Senate Oversight will yield tangible benefits for marginalized areas while continuing to strengthen the fair distribution of resources.
"This Bill is about fairness. It is about ensuring every region, including Mbeere South, gets a rightful share of development projects,” asserted area MP, Hon. Eng Bernard Muriuki
