Residents of Wajir East Constituency turned out in large numbers for the second consecutive day to participate in a public forum on the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025, held at the Constituency office.
The forum offered a platform for locals to give their views on the proposed amendment, which seeks to entrench three key development funds into the Constitution: the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF), and the Senate Oversight Fund.
Participants acknowledged the critical role these funds play in promoting grassroots development and improving service delivery nationwide.
