Kinango Residents support Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025, say funds have been beneficial

Kinango Constituency MP, Hon. Samuel Gonzi Rai, today spearheaded the public participation exercise on the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2025. 

The exercise that took place in Samburu-Kinango saw a number of locals turn up to support the Bill that seeks to entrench three funds; The National Government Constituencies Fund (NGCF), The Senate Oversight Fund and the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF), in the Constitution.

According to the residents the proposed NGCF funds formally known as NG-CDF has been very effective in development of school infrastructure, bursaries, administration infrastructure like chief offices and social welfare for women, youths and Persons Living with Disabilities (PLDs) groups.
