The National Assembly team has collected views from four Constituencies in Kakamega County today on the second day of the public hearings on the Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2025.

The team collected views from Lurambi, Shinyalu, Navakholo & Malava Constituencies.

In all the Constituencies visited, residents stated the key benefits that they have enjoyed to date from the National Government Constituency Development Fund, strongly supporting its continuity.

However, residents called on the need for fairness in distribution of funds without favoritism, transparency and clear accountability to enhance public trust on the utilization of the allocations.

On the final day of the exercise tomorrow Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the team will engage Constituents from Butere, Mumias West, Matungu, Likuyani and Lugari.
