MPs lead Kasipul constituents in mourning Hon. Charles Ong'ondo Were

Scenes of profound grief and respect rented the air at Agoro Sare Comprehensive School as leaders drawn from the National Assembly and the Senate led Kasipul Constituents in paying last respect to the Late MP. Hon. Charles Ong'ondo Were.
Kenyans had the opportunity to view the body and mourn the late MP with heartfelt tributes in reflection of the moments shared together.
The sheer number of people who turned up during the public viewing of the body is a testament to his leadership and mpact in the society in matters development.
Following the public viewing, the body was taken to his rural home for an overnight vigil, where he will be laid to rest tomorrow.
The late MP was shot on 30th April, 2025 while serving his second term in the Parliament of Kenya.

Millie Mabona, Kisumu West MP, Hon. Rosa Buyu and Homabay Senator, Senator Moses Otieno Kajwang, Likoni MP, Hon. Mishi Mboko, Mwingi North MP, Hon. Paul Nzengu, Ndhiwa MP, Hon. Martin Peters Owino, Funyula MP, Hon. Wilberforce Oundo, Mumias West MP, Johnson Naicca and Homabay Governor, Hon. Gladys Wanga
