Calls for increased public awareness on parliamentary work, enhanced inter-directorate collaborations, dominate third day of the Hansard Association of Kenya Conference

The Director of Litigation and Compliance in the National Assembly Mr. Sherriffsam Mwendwa has stressed the need for enhanced public awareness on Parliamentary work to enable Kenyans to better understand and appreciate the delivery of Members of Parliament on their core mandate. 

Mr. Mwendwa who spoke on the sidelines on the ongoing Hansard of Kenya (HAK) 7th Annual Conference in Mombasa noted that this would heldp build more public trust on the institution and its work. 

His comments were also echoed by the Director of Parliamentary Budget Office, Dr. Martin Masinde who stressed the need for more inter-directorate collaborations to handle emergent challenges in the legislative work of Parliament.
