FYI: 2025/2026 fy budget making process on course

Nairobi County. May, 28, 2025. 

The Budget Making process for the 2025/2026 Financial Year is on course as several National Assembly Committees continue their meetings over crucial stages relating to the overall Budget Making Process. Among these are the ongoing meetings of the Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations which has been meeting Departmental Committees to review their Reports on consideration of the Budget Estimates for the Ministries, Departments and Agencies under their oversight purview. Separately, the Finance and National Planning Committee is spearheading Public Participation in the Finance Bill 2025. Below is a brief clip highlighting the status of the ongoing process.
