Investment, Trade and Industry CS summoned to appear before the Senate Trade Committee

The Senate Committee on Trade, Industrialization and Tourism chaired by Senator Issa Boy Juma has summoned the Cabinet Secretary for Investment, Trade and Industry, Hon. Lee Kinyanjui for failing to attend the committee meeting this Wednesday. The CS had appointed the Permanent Secretary Industry Dr. Juma Mukhwana, who also failed to attend.

β€œThe committee has, on numerous occasions, invited the CS to appear before this committee and the invitations had not been honoured. The committee has resolved to summon the CS to appear before the committee on 10th April, 2025,” Senator Issa Boy stated.
