Senate ICT Committee to consider the Technopolis Bill, 2024

The Senate Committee on Information, Communication and Technology, chaired by Sen Allan Chesang (Trans Nzoia), met to consider the Technopolis Bill, 2024 (National Assembly Bills No. 6 of 2024).

Following initial deliberations, the Committee resolved to hold a retreat involving key stakeholders to gain broader insights and ensure a more informed review of the proposed legislation before issuing its final recommendations.

Senators Miraj Abdillah (Vice Chair), William Kisang (Marakwet), Beatrice Akinyi and Abdalla Shakila were in attendance, with Chairperson Chesang participating virtually.
