The Senate Committee on Health, led by Chair Sen Jackson Mandago (Uasin Gishu), has officially arrived in Mandera County for its County Oversight Visit.

The delegation was received at the airstrip by Mandera County Secretary, Mr. Billow Hassan, before proceeding for a courtesy call to the Office of the Governor. The visit marks the beginning of engagements to assess healthcare infrastructure, staffing, medical supplies, automation systems and Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) operations, as the Committee seeks to strengthen healthcare service delivery across the counties.
